I do however want to put together an SAS loadout, but whether it's 1/2,3/4 or 5 is where I'm undecided, I may end up going with 3/4 SAS, as I can see a couple of good games in Operation Dingson and Samwest.

You might want to look at the "Operation Jedburgh" battle as well. Should be right up your street. :good:

Welcome Wolfspider, now you know where I lurk when not on Arnies :wink:
Like I said previously, this place is an excellent base for research and lots of the folk will point you in the right direction when researching things. :good:

Sabre Sales is the place - Dickie is the man to see - GSOH. He informed me on my first trip - 'They don't make 58 pattern belts in Fat B****** size Sir!' He also co-wrote 'The World War II Tommy: British Army Uniforms European Theatre 1939-45'. Its also great to hear your dearest is interested. There is this place that might do ATS;

However, I think Dickie would also be able to give some valuable advice on where to look for ATS stuff.

Terry from the range went there and brought a complete ATS uniform from shoes to cap for £140 for his young lady. She wont skirmish in it but she'll have fun being chatted up by everybody at Sealion Lol.
I also pointed out Carly's loadout for the Ruskie game which would suit your young lady well. I'll lend you Femail Agents as well this weekend, a cracking film and the French resistance look is one that your lass looked good in on our last WW2 game.

Ah well, you see, most of us are getting on a bit now :giggle: . The spectre of a previous event, Churchills' Revenge (at the same site) hangs over us too. 'Twas a very wet weekend! As for Jedburgh, there will be oppurtunity for those hardcore (or crazy) enough to play past the "official" down time. We have to make allowances for the people who are driving, as our players come from all over the country, some driving for up to 5 hours to get to a site.

As for the training, thanks for the compliment. We try to strike a good balance, so players both learn and benefit from what goes on.

Excellent news Wolfie- glad she's on the right side.

Yes Female Agents (or 'Women in the Shadows' in French i believe) is a good film (except the odd stuffy Brit officers). However, how old am I? When watching the first bit my first thought was 'Oooo look a N04 (T)!
